For Your Weekend List｜Whiskey Del Bac Frontera American Single Malt Whiskey｜ Other Products

Whiskey Del Bac Frontera American Single Malt Whiskey is a limited release from Hamilton Distillers in Tucson, Arizona, the desert single malt house founded by Stephen Paul. Frontera, Spanish for border, nods to Tucson's place an hour from Mexico and to the distillery's habit of pulling Southwestern influence into Scottish-style malt whiskey.Made from barley malted at the distillery and distilled in copper pot stills, it carries Del Bac's signature earthy mesquite smoke over a core of caramel and dried fruit. The mouthfeel is velvety and medium-bodied, and the finish is long, with smoke and sweetness lingering together. It is a sipping whiskey; give it a few minutes in the glass and skip the ice.Del Bac limited releases are small runs, so this 750ml bottle is one for collectors of American single malt and fans of the Tucson distillery.
