Other Products ｜When In Rome: The Promise 12"

If you need a friend. Don't look to a stranger. A 1988 one hit wonder and the Donald Trump of guilty pleasures. I have a hard time admitting that this is one of my favorite songs. It sounds like it could be a song for a Greek Musk commercial, but it's undeniable... I don't know anyone who doesn't like this powerful piece of pop. And to solve one of those life long mysteries, here's the lyrics of the chorus (sing along now): "I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say. I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be. But if you'll wait around awhile, I'll make you fall for me, I promise you, I promise you I will." As a bonus, this twelve inch features the beefed up 12" remix version (original not included) with an extended instrumental intro and midsection... powerful. You know you want it, don't deny yourself this cake. B-side features Wide Boy Awake's "Slang Teacher."
